Orion launch plans and a blow-up toy

Update: Valve issues caused a scrub this morning and the next window is tomorrow (Friday 12/5), same bat time and same bat channel. Unless the issue can't be resolved today, in which case it will slip longer.

Tomorrow, NASA will conduct the first test flight of their brand spanking new Orion capsule. Almost 42 years to the day of the last Apollo launch, the back-to-the-future-like spaceship will do a couple of laps around the Earth to test both its launch and recovery capabilities. The launch window goes for 2 hours and 39 minutes starting at about 7AM tomorrow. The weather appears to be improving so it might be worth checking NASA TV before 7.

I'd sure like one of these nose cones :D
