Rockets, science and rocket science in Maryland/Delaware

Both of these events are supported by the Maryland Delaware Rocketry Association (MDRA):

Space Day at the Maryland Science Center at Baltimore's Inner Harbor - MDRA generally has static displays
Space Day 11:00 AM-4:00 PM
Space Day features aerospace displays, and activities. Presentations will be made possible from NASA Space Telescope, Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab, model rocket clubs, and the makers of NASA spacesuits. Activities include making Alka-Selzter rockets, constructing your own space backpacks, and signing a poster that will fly your name into space. Also NASA astronaut ken Reightler will be here to meet visitors and sign autographs.
Rockets for Delaware in Cape Henlopen State Park - MDRA conducts launches and high power demo flights.
The Delaware AeroSpace Education Foundation, in conjunction with other state agencies, is sponsoring Delaware’s eleventh Rockets for Delaware in Cape Henlopen State Park on Saturday May 3, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Rockets designed and constructed by Delaware students will be launched all day. Outdoor/tent event, from 9 – 4:00 p.m., will feature displays, launches of canister, bottle, single stage, advanced and 2 impressive high altitude rockets, plus kite and helicopter demonstrations. Food available. Park entrance fee is $4.00 for Delaware residents and $8 for others. All events rain or shine.
