Refined theory of backsliding gliders

NOTE: Both Mark's and the Always' sites are gone...I hope they will appear elsewhere soon.

I just ran across Mark Fisher's refined analysis of backsliding, super-roc gliders, which were first pioneered by Peter and Robert Alway (source of the figure). The article includes a list of references and RockSim files for the analyzed configurations.

I am thinking that one these might me a good testbed for 18mm Green Monkey EX motors, so I wanted to tuck this away for future reference. I don't know how well they'll do, either in glide of at landing, with a relatively heavy aluminum motor case installed.
