Drayson Racing sets world electric land speed record

Drayson Racing announced that it has set a new World Electric Land Speed Record of 204.185 mph.

Their B12 69/EV features a carbon fiber shell and four electric motors that generate 1,126 horsepower. The record was set on a runway at RAF Elvington in Yorkshire, UK. It surprised me that the previous record of 175 mph was set way back in 1974 by US-based Battery Box Electric. I wonder how fast the b12 could go at Bonneville with a longer 'track'?
