Using Rustolium 'Titanium Silver' held about 2 feet away, I just 'misted' the silver on over the black very lightly.
The Rustolium Titanium Silver has very fine particles in it which don't clump together and give the best silver effect I've seen. (Same as used on Mr Stabby - http://www.flickr.com/photos/oflittleinterest/3530360119/ )

Thanks, I'll have to look for the titanium-silver. U guess the key is the distance involved. An probably practice.
